In fact, it is one of the few vacations we return to. In Colorado, you can find secluded cabins or large luxury lodges with tons of amenities depending on your budget and style.

Imagine dipping into a steaming outdoor hot tub right outside your honeymoon cabin, or spending time next to a cozy fireplace roasting smores. Last winter we spend a week in Colorado in the winter staying in cabins and it was easily one of the best trips we have been on together.

Vista Verde is an amazing luxury all-inclusive ranch located just outside of Steamboat Springs.  We fell in love with the property and the amazing staff that make it special.  All-inclusive packages start at $1,725/person for a 3-night stay in a cabin.  We encourage 4 nights if possible as that allows for enough time to try many of the activities while still fitting in relax time in the cabin.

The staff at Vista Verde Ranch make everything easy for you. In your cabin, they leave snacks and drinks every day. They check in with you to know how things are going and to get you prepared for the activities available to you. The meals are delicious and are prepared by a very talented team with local influence. 

In the winter, imagine snow gently falling outside of your cabin while you are cozy inside by the fire or soaking in the hot tub outside your luxury cabin. We found this especially helpful after a horseback riding session or backcountry ski outing. 

In the summer there are even more activities available, including fly fishing, mountain biking and more. 

Whether you’re planning a honeymoon or looking to rekindle the romance, a winter vacation at Vista Verde offers the perfect setting for a romantic getaway.
