The Wilderness Resort located in Wisconsin Dells is a waterpark resort that is America’s Largest Waterpark Resort spread across over 600 acres. The resort includes 4 indoor waterparks, 4 outdoor water parks tons of other attractions to enjoy during your vacation. For accommodations, there are resort rooms, condos, villas but our choice, of course, are the 111 cabins available.
Accommodations
The Wilderness Resort has three properties you can stay at including the main lodge, the Wilderness Hotel, and Golf Resort, the Wilderness on the Lake overlooking Lake Delton, and Glacier Canyon Lodge. Additionally, there are 40 vacation villas and 111 cabins.
The cabins available range from three to five-bedroom cabins sleeping up to 20 people. Cabins come with full kitchens with breakfast bars, fireplaces, and outdoor seating areas. Many come with whirlpool tubs for two, large decks with gas grills, wet bars, and some even come with a home theater.
Food & Beverage
The Wilderness Resort has several dining options throughout including the brand new Camp Social that serves breakfast and dinner with a full-service burger bar, specialty hot dogs, and pizzas. The Survivors Bar & Grill is a sports bar serving up American cuisine for the family. You can dine in at Klondike Pizza Cafe or take advantage of the poolside delivery.
For something a little nicer, try Field’s at the Wilderness where you can enjoy prime meats and grilled seafood with top-notch services in a more intimate atmosphere.
Activities
When you aren’t enjoying time in your cabin with friends and family, the Wilderness Resort has tons of family-friendly activities to take advantage of. As mentioned above, there are 8 water park areas with 4 inside. The list of features throughout the waterparks goes on and on with an indoor wave pool, pool with swim-up bar, family raft rides, lazy rivers, kids water play areas, huge swimming pools, and more.
Away from the water, there are indoor activities like the arcade, laser tag, a laser maze, ropes course, playhouses, a VR experience, escape rooms, and unique activities each day. Outside you can check out the treehouse zipline tour, mini-golf, and gocarts. If you are interested in gold you can head to the Wild Rock Gold Club.
For parents looking to relax, head to the adult-only spa at Sandara to experience the purifying bath ritual, salt treatment room therapy, or one of their massage or other body treatments.
